Foom at FACT
We’re thrilled to be invited to stage a session of Foom at FACT—the Future of Arts, Culture & Technology Symposium—In Melbourne, AU, coming up on 14 February, from 130PM-430PM.
What is FACT? To quote:
“ACMI's annual Future of Arts, Culture and Technology Symposium returns in February 2025, partnering with Major Event Partner Creative Australia. This year, the symposium focuses on the future of culture, art, media and the infrastructures that support these areas. Along the journey we will be talking about the creative practices of the future, AI and its continuing impact, new organisational models and a lot more.”
We are running a public Foom session—which is an additional cost to the full FACT registration. The group is capped at 25, so time to get that ticket! We will have some new features and have raised the experience to another level!
FACT has some amazing speakers and sessions, including talks by Dr Deb Chachra, Prof Dan Hill, Adrian Hon, and many of the brightest lights in Australian arts, culture and media. Scott Smith will also be on a panel alongside Angela Stengel (ABC), Stuart Buchanan (Sydney Opera House),and Dr Indigo Holcombe-James (ACMI) talking about the Future of Media. As if that’s not enough, the fantastic Future & Other Fictions exhibition is on at ACMI as well, so we will be in our element. Come!
